About this tool, tips & examples

What it does

The Fake Profile Generator creates complete fictional identities: name, username, email, phone number, job title, company, short bio, and avatar URL. Generate up to 10,000 profiles per run for a chosen country flavor, seeded so the same cast of characters can be regenerated anywhere. Exports as CSV, JSON, NDJSON, TSV, or Markdown.

Common use cases

  • UI development — user cards, profile pages, mention pickers, and avatars filled with coherent people-shaped data.
  • Database seeding — a users table with realistic variety for dev and staging environments.
  • Contact form and CRM testing — plausible names, emails, and phones that exercise validation without touching anyone real.
  • Privacy-safe demos — screenshots and screen shares with zero risk, because nobody in them exists.

Settings

  • Profiles — 1 to 10,000 per run.
  • Country — shapes names, phone formats, and locale details.
  • Seed — the same seed and settings regenerate the identical set of profiles.

Privacy note

Profiles are generated locally in your browser and never uploaded. Every person is fictional — assembled from name pools and format templates, not sampled from real records. Never contact the generated emails or numbers; treat all of it as display and test data.

FAQ

Are the emails and phone numbers real? No — they’re format-valid but fictional. Some may coincide with real addresses by chance, which is exactly why you should never send anything to them; use them for parsing and display only.

Do profiles stay consistent within themselves? Yes — username, email, and name relate plausibly, so search, sorting, and display logic behave like they would with real users.

I need full datasets, not just profiles. Pair with Fake Address for postal data, or use the Fake User Dataset / Synthetic Dataset tools when you want tabular user data with schema control.
